Teda International was incorporated to provide consultancy services by on boarding clients on matters relating to healthcare, including medical devices, systems, and software development. We were also involved in the business of manufacturing, buying, and selling of medical goods. In particular, we collaborated with Shenzhen Tianda International to supply bird’s nest.

Teda Wellness Solutions was established as a subsidiary company to preside over the medical business. Following the month of November, we cooperated with China Life Health Industry Group and IMC Hong Kong International Medical Machine, officially launching the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) Chinese medicine pulse mining system, popularly known as pulse diagnosis.

Teda Wellness Solutions worked closely with Sunway Medical Centre for medical tourism opportunities.

During May of the same year, we partnered with Xiuzheng and Furen pharmacies in China to provide thousands of our AI Chinese medicine pulse mining system.

The global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has shifted our business focus into Malaysia. We began importing face masks and non-contact infrared thermometers from China for the local market. Facing severe social disruption from the outbreak, we have sourced COVID-19 rapid test kits from Shanghai Liangrun Biomedicine Technology. Shortly after, we received approval from Medical Device Authority (MDA) Malaysia to import Liangrun (Lionrun) Diagnostic Kit for Antibody IgM/IgG of the Novel Coronavirus. We then became the exclusive distributor of Liangrun (Lionrun) in Malaysia.

Teda Wellness Solutions successfully obtained the certificate of Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD). Subsequently in October 2020, we secured the MDA establishment license. Upon the rapidly growing cases of infections, we teamed up with Hangzhou Laihe Biotech to produce Lyher novel COVID-19 antigen test kit – for professional use, delivering a much quicker and efficient way of detecting the virus. Alongside becoming the exclusive distributor of Lyher in Malaysia, we registered for MDA special access.

We were cooperated with Nusamedic Clinic to provide COVID-19 PCR and RTK test to local manufacturers. At the end of the year, we presented the idea of TD-Labs.

Eventually in February of 2021, we managed to acquire the MDA special access for Lyher novel COVID-19 antigen test kit – for professional use. Later, the first version of TD-Labs was released.

Teda Technology was established as our second subsidiary company to develop TD-Labs, a one-stop mobile application for COVID-19 surveillance to demonstrate our social responsibility in curbing its spread. Beyond that, we also integrated a shopping mall platform within.

We were able to obtain MDA approval of Lyher novel COVID-19 antigen test kit (colloidal gold) – nasal swab. In the meantime, My COVID-19 Surveillance Program (MyCSP) was launched in TD-Labs.

Come November, we partnered with Anhui Raycus Biological Technology to introduce our new child-friendly product: Raycus COVID-19 antigen rapid self-test kit – saliva, which was MDA approved. In December 2021, MDA approval of Lyher novel COVID-19 antigen test kit (colloidal gold) – saliva, was also secured.

In January 2022, the grand launching of MyCSP was held in The Everly Hotel Putrajaya with humble invitation to the guest of honor YB Dato’ Sri Dr. Adham Bin Baba, Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI). During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Nexus Medical Solutions and Apex Pharmacy was conducted.

Moving on to our latest project pioneered in March of 2022, we are soon to bring you the Smart Vending Machine. Incorporated this May, Teda Smart Pharma was founded to create Smart Keluarga Smart Vending Machine.
